WARRANT ARREST MADE SUNDAY ON BRENHAM MAN

  

A Brenham man was arrested on a warrant Sunday by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, on Sunday at 4:00 pm, Washington County Deputies served an arrest warrant in the 3900 Block of Old Independence Road resulting in the arrest of 44 year old Brenham resident Matthew Tyler Sampson.  Sampson is allegedly wanted on a California Governor's warrant as a Fugitive from Justice resulting from Disobedience of a Court Order on a previous domestic violence felony. California authorities intend to extradite Sampson as soon as possible.  Sampson does not have any local charges and remains in the Washington County Jail.
