CONROE MAN SENTENCED TO 75 YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT

A 39-year-old Conroe man who drugged and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl is going to spend the next 75 years in prison.
Anthony Frank Penna was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child Thursday. Court records indicate the incident took place in October of 2019. According to those records, Penna invited the victim to his house, where he drugged the individual with marijuana.
The victim testified that she could not move or speak but heard a door lock after which she felt Penna remove her clothes before sexually assaulting her. She told her father who then reported the matter to the Conroe Police Department.
Penna had previously been charged as a teenager for molesting a 6-year-old boy.
