LEE COUNTY MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED SEX CRIMES
A Lexington man was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on multiple alleged sex crimes.
64 year old Benjamin Early Thornton was taken into custody Monday afternoon for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, which is a first degree felony, and one count of Indecent Assault, which is a Class A Misdemeanor.
Due to the charges, the Sheriff’s Office has withheld the name and age of the victim in order to protect their identity.
Thornton has posted bond and been released from the Lee County Jail in Giddings.
