CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL APPROVES LAND ANNEX

  

The Caldwell City Council is approving an ordinance to annex 105 acres of property in the Burleson County Industrial Park for the CAP Fleet Upfitters project.

The annexation is the next step to allow the company to continue its construction plan with access to city water, sewer, and electrical services, along with city streets and drainage.

CAP Fleet is one of the largest upfitters of law enforcement, fire, highway safety, and first responder vehicles. They specialize in upfits for law enforcement vehicles, installing computers in those vehicles and other equipment as needed.

The 105 acres will be used for a 100,000 square foot assembly facility along with a 24,000 square foot office building. There is no timetable for when construction will begin.
