NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS AROUND THE AREA

  

As the clock ticks down on 2021, several locations around the area will be ringing in the new year with celebrations tonight (Friday).

The Brenham Elks Lodge’s New Year’s Eve Dance gets underway at 8 p.m. with entertainment from the Risky Liver Band.  There will be a celebratory champagne toast at midnight, and breakfast will be served with black-eyed peas and cabbage.  Tickets are $30 per person at the door.  The lodge is located at 400 East Germania Street.

4 Star Concert Hall at 209 South Market Street in downtown Brenham has a New Year’s Eve Party beginning at 7 p.m.  A gourmet buffet will be served alongside snacks, desserts and black-eyed peas.  Trace Elements will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight.  There will also be party favors and “ring it in” shots.  Tickets are $40 per person, and are available at www.eventbrite.com.

Harmonie Hall in Shelby will host a New Year’s Eve Dance, with doors opening at 7 p.m.  Music will be provided by Southern Daze from 8 p.m. to midnight.  Black-eyed peas will be served at midnight, and a cash bar with setups will be available.  Snacks may be brought in, but no outside drinks are allowed.  Tickets are $15 cash at the door.  Harmonie Hall is located at 509 FM 389 West.

A New Year’s Eve Dance will be held at the Round Top Rifle Hall, located at 710 FM 1457.  Doors open at 6 p.m., and the Lost Cause Band will take the stage from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.  Complimentary sliced ham and turkey will be available, and free cornbread and black-eyed peas will be served at midnight.  Guests are invited to bring treats to the community snack table.  Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at Round Top Mercantile or Round Top State Bank.
