BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FRIDAY AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

A Brenham man was arrested Friday after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report that Friday at 12:25 PM, Officer Caskey conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. on a vehicle for an equipment violation. While speaking to the occupants inside the vehicle, the odor of marijuana was detected. After a probable cause search was conducted, the driver Nicolas Eugene Randle, 29 of Brenham, was arrested and booked in to the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana between 2 and 4 ounces and Prohibited Substances and Items in a Correctional Facility.
