BURTON CITY COUNCIL SETS AGENDA
The Burton City Council has set the agenda for their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, January 11.
The main topic of discussion will be the supplemental bid to finish fixing the flag poles on Highway 290 in Burton.
The city has an original bid from Hepler Services in Round Top for $1,250 to install new flag pole lights. They will be voting to accept the latest supplemental bid from Hepler for another $950. That money will go toward installing new wiring for the flag poles.
In other topics will be action on a contract between the city and Burton ISD regarding polling places for elections. The idea behind the agreement is to give voters multiple places to vote on election day through the city and school district.
The Burton City Council will meet this Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
