SEVERAL DEPUTY PROMOTIONS AT FAYETTE CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE

  

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is starting the new year with several promotions for new and long-standing deputies.

Fayette County Sheriff’s Lieutenant David Beyer said with the new 2022 budget, the sheriff’s office was able to promote two deputies to night patrol sergeants.

The two promotions are for Benjamin Wilson, who has been with the sheriff’s office for nearly 16 years, and Ryan Meagher, a member of the sheriff’s office for almost four years.

Lt. Beyer said the addition of the night patrol sergeant positions means the sheriff’s office will have supervisor coverage 24/7.

In addition, the sheriff’s office also made 10 Deputy Star promotions.  Deputy Stars range from one to five stars, depending on years of service and productivity.

Promoted to Deputy 5 Stars were Michael Krenek, Herman Olvera and James Ulbig.

Deputy 4 Star promotions include AJ Gonzales, Dustin Kieschnick and Jared Michalec.

New Deputy 3 Stars are Austin Moore, Lee Phillips, Seth Nagel and Orlando Buitron.
