BELLVILLE CHURCH GROUP TO AID IN DISASTER RELIEF FOR COLORADO FIRE

Volunteers from Bellville are traveling to Colorado to help clean up damage caused by the Marshall Fire in Boulder County.
A recovery team from First Baptist Church of Bellville will soon arrive in Colorado to assist those in need after the fire, which broke out in late December and has caused over $500 million in damage.
The team is a part of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention Disaster Relief (SBTC DR), and will be shoveling ash and debris while assisting people in finding their lost valuables.
SBTC DR Director Scottie Stice said some people have lost everything to the fire, and he and volunteers want those affected “to know that there is hope and they are not alone.”
