BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE ASKING PATIENTS TO ONLY USE ER FOR EMERGENCIES

  

Baylor Scott & White Health is urging patients to only use the emergency room in urgent situations.

In a statement, Baylor Scott & White said, “In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, please keep in mind that our emergency room (ER) is for those needing higher levels of care.”

The healthcare system said reserving the ER for medical emergencies will “ensure our facilities are ready for those who need care most during this time.”  It also encouraged the community to get vaccinated, get boosted, practice social distancing and wear a mask.
