CUBETTES TOP MAGNOLIA 64-51 FOR FOURTH-STRAIGHT WIN

The Brenham Cubette basketball team made it four district wins in a row after defeating Magnolia Friday night, 64-51.

Ka’Mya Stringfellow and Arianah Lewis led the way with 17 points apiece.  Halle Scheel netted 14, Malyiah Ausby scored 10, and Alexis Thomas, Jasmine Lowery and Nicole Tarver each scored 2.

Next up for the Cubettes (15-13, 4-6 19-5A) is a district matchup with Magnolia West in Magnolia on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
