The Brenham High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC made it four straight first place finishes at a drill meet this weekend.

On Saturday, the Brenham MCJROTC competed against 16 teams from various high schools across Texas at Dayton High School, earning overall first place honors.

The meet was also a regional qualifier event, allowing the top three teams to participate in the Region 5 meet on March 26th.

With the win, Brenham has been invited to the regional competition, putting the group one step closer to a sixth straight national invitation.

Individual placements over the weekend included first place armed regulation and color guard, second place unarmed regulation and unarmed exhibition, and third place armed exhibition.  Also, Austin Pfeffer and Ximena Cervantes were honored as the best commanders of the meet.
