KWHI TO HOLD CANDIDATES FORUM FOR WASHINGTON CO., STATE REP. RACES FEB. 7
KWHI will host a Candidates Forum for the contested races in the March primary election.
The forum is set for Monday, February 7th at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank, and will feature the candidates for Washington County Precinct 2 Commissioner and Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace, as well as District 12 State Representative.
Each of the seven candidates in the races have been invited to attend the forum. Those include Precinct 2 Commissioner Candice Bullock and challenger Mark Schonefeld, Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace candidates Duane “Dane” Houston and Daniel McCarthy, District 12 Representative Kyle Kacal and challengers Ben Bius and Joshua Hamm.
Candidates will answer questions from the audience, the news media and emails sent to mail@kwhi.com.
The forum will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com. It will also be streamed live on the KWHI mobile app.
