PRIDE ACADEMY PRINCIPAL ALLAN COLVIN NAMED ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR

The principal of Brenham ISD’s Pride Academy has been recognized by the Texas Association for Alternative Education (TAAE).
Allan Colvin was recently named as the TAAE’s 2021 Alternative Education Administrator of the Year.
The award is presented to administrators for their “daily actions and dedication to the field of alternative education,” as well as “outstanding contribution” to their school and students.
Colvin has worked for Brenham ISD for 19 years, and has held teaching and administrative positions at Brenham High School and at Pride Academy. In the 2014-15 school year, he was named Pride Academy’s Teacher of the Year.
