MULTI-COUNTY NEW LANDOWNER EDUCATION PROGRAM COMING TO CAT SPRING

The Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Office will begin their 2022 Multi-County New Landowner Education Program next week.

The program is a series of seven informational meetings, seminars, and field days that are designed to make new landowners in Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington Counties aware of what types of agricultural enterprises are best for their property.

The first meeting entitled, “Introduction Ag/Wildlife Valuations”, will be held Friday, February 18, at the Agriculture Hall in Cat Spring.

The initial session will provide an overview of the program, share information for local resources, and provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals of getting started with managing their property.

Registration is from 1-1:30pm, and the program runs from 1:30-5pm. The cost is $20 per person for each session, or $125 per person for the entire series.

For more information, contact the Agri-Life Extension Office in any of the four counties.
