BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGES

A Brenham woman was arrested Sunday evening after an assault call.
Brenham Police report that Sunday at 7:25 PM, officers responded to the 300 block of Clayton Drive in reference to an assault. After investigation, Naikia Bryant, 34 of Brenham, was taken into custody for assault causing bodily injury to a family member and assault by impeding breath and or circulation to a family member. She was booked in at the Washington County Jail.
