BRISK EARLY VOTING TURNOUT CONTINUES

  

Early voting for the March primary election continues its fast start in Washington County.

Election Administrator Carol Jackson said 312 early voters came to the Washington County Courthouse Annex on Wednesday, including 270 Republicans and 42 Democrats.

Tuesday brought in 323 people.  The total of early voters through Wednesday is 892.

The courthouse annex remains open for early voting through Friday, February 25th.  Hours today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekend hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Due to President’s Day, no early voting will take place on Monday.  The courthouse annex will offer extended hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, February 22-24, wrapping up on the 25th with hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, March 1st.
