TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO WARRANT ARREST THURSDAY

  

A traffic stop led to a warrant arrest Thursday evening.

Brenham Police report that Thursday at 8:15 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The investigation later revealed that the driver, Joshua Ishmael Wright,  22 of College Station, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Brazos County for Driving Under the Influence. Once confirmed, Wright was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking and was released to jail staff.
