BRENHAM CUBS RUN-RULE KATY PAETOW FOR THE SECOND TIME 11-0

(Mark Whitehead)
Having the game pushed back an extra day didn't seem to matter to the Brenham Cubs as they took care of business by beating Katy Paetow 11-0 last (Wednesday) night at Fireman's Park.
Brenham scored four runs in the second inning, four runs in the fourth inning, and three runs in the sixth inning to enforce the ten run mercy rule.
Ethan Jezierski had another strong outing going six shutout innings to pick up the win on the mound. He also helped the team at the plate with a double and two RBIs.
Lane Sparks was one for four with a triple, three RBIs, and a run scored.
Brenham now gets ready to host the Alumni Tournament today (Thursday) - Saturday. On Thursday, the Cubs host St. Thomas at 2:30pm, followed by Cedar Ridge at 7:30pm (7:05pm pregame on KWHI)
