BELLVILLE VFD CHILI & BEANS COOK-OFF SATURDAY
The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department Station #4 is all set for its 13th Annual Chili and Beans Cook-off.
Beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday) at The Kenney Store, teams will compete in contests for chili, beans, chef’s choice, margaritas and Bloody Marys. There will also be live music.
Judging begins at 10:30 a.m. for the Bloody Mary contest. That will be followed by margaritas at noon, chef’s choice at 1:30 p.m., beans at 3 p.m. and chili at 4:30 p.m.
Prizes will go to the first, second and third place winners in each category.
All proceeds from the cook-off will support the fire department.
