7TH ANNUAL SCHULENBURG SAUSAGEFEST APRIL 2
In two weeks, Sausagefest makes its return to Schulenburg.
The 7th annual festival will fill downtown with live music, food, a biergarten, arts and crafts, and children’s activities on Saturday, April 2nd.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m. with a fun run, and will be followed with The Shortest Parade in Texas at 11:15 a.m., a performance from the Schulenburg ISD Shorthorn Band at 11:30 a.m. and opening ceremonies at 11:45 a.m.
Other activities will include contests for hog-calling and sausage-tossing, as well as wine, pickles and sauerkraut contests and the American Legion Black Bean Motorcycle Ride.
There will also be live music in the street featuring The Czechaholics, Mark Halata and Texavia, and Jarrod Birmingham.
