JASINSKI THROWS PERFECT GAME AS CUBETTES DEFEAT RUDDER 4-0
What a way to end Spring Break! The Brenham Cubettes picked up a 4-0 win over Bryan Rudder to improve their overall record to 13-6-2, and their district record to 4-3.
Della Jasinski threw a perfect game. She face 21 batters, and retired all 21 batters. Jasinski went all seven innings and struck out 13 batters.
The Cubettes first run came in the second inning. Annie Beckendorf was hit by a pitch, and then stole second. Kaylie Rodriguez sacrifice bunted her over to third. Beckendorf then scored on a sacrifice fly by Sarah Mabie to make it 1-0.
Avery Maurer led off the Brenham third inning with a double off the left field wall, stole third, and came home on an RBI single by Halle Scheel to make it 2-0.
In the Cubette fifth inning, Maurer walked, and then stole both second and third. She came home to score on a sacrifice fly by Kenley Mikolajchak to make it 3-0.
Brenham got one more run in the sixth inning when Mabie walked, and then scored on an RBI double by Scheel.
