BRENHAM’S KELLY JURDEN SET NCAA DIVISION III CAREER STOLEN BASES RECORD

The honors just keep coming for former Brenham Cubette Kelly Jurden.
Jurden, who is in her senior season at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, set the NCAA Division III Career Stolen Bases record on Friday.
During the fourth inning of TLU's game against Austin College, Jurden swiped her 196th career base.
The Bulldogs went on to win the game 7-2 at Ed Kruse Stadium in Seguin.
Earlier this season, Jurden also set the TLU school record for career runs scored, and the SCAC conference record for career hits.
