BURTON, SOMERVILLE, AND SNOOK BOYS BASKETBALL ALL DISTRICT HONORS

The Boys Basketball Teams from Burton, Somerville, and Snook were well represented on the District 26-2A All District Teams, which were announced today.

For Burton, Carson Lauter made first team All-District.

Ryan Roehling, Chet Fritsch, and Kaben Lunbeck received Honorable Mention All-District.

Fritsch, Lauter, Roehling, as well as, Zane Aschenbeck and Drayton Oakes were named to the Academic All-District Team.

For Snook, Kaleb Carroll was name as Co-Offensive MVP of the district, while teammate Dekendrick Dawson was named Newcomer of the year.

First team All-District went to Dalvin Workman.

Honorable Mention All-District went to Sam Smitherman, Lance Lara, and Justin Hruska.

Those same three also represented the Blue Jays on the Academic All-District Team.

For Somerville, Johnny Legg was First Team All-District.

Gardner Shivers was Second Team All-District.

Honorable Mention All-District went to D.J. Bryant, Brandon Carter, Vercobe Woodberry, and Jesus Espinoza

Brandon Carter was the Yeguas’ lone representative on the Academic All-District team.
