  1. Pretty sure that each District Executive Committee sets the schedule, not UIL. With the implementation of pitch counts, this is probably a byproduct of safety and to create a little parity too. Playing the same team twice in a week means the ace won’t start both games. And why should I face your ace every time we meet up? If you want to be a good enough team, develop a #2 or #3 pitcher.
Quit relying on a workhorse that you’ll end up ruining in the long run. Do you think single playoff games are better than best 2 of 3?

  2. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THE DISTRICT STANDINGS.

WONDERING WHOSE IDEA IT WAS AT U I L TO SCHEDULE TEAMS PLAYING EACH OTHER TWICE IN ONE WEEK, WHEN YOU HAVE A 5 OR 6 OR 7 WEEK DISTRICT SCHEDULE.
YOU HAVE A KEY PLAYER (THINK PITCHER) OUT THE WEEK YOU’RE PLAYING NUMBER 1; YOU’VE ALTERED THE DISTRICT RACE DRAMATICALLY.
FAR BETTER TO GO THRU THE SCHEDULE AS HAS BEEN DONE SINCE TIME ETERNAL AND THEN GO BACK THRU MULTIPLE WEEKS LATER. AND PUT THE GAME IN THE HANDS OF THE COACHES, NOT THE SCHEDULER.
THIS IS BIASED AGAINST A TEAM WITH ONLY ONE OUTSTANDING PITCHER.

    1. I would like to know why the JV players are given zero recognition as to their scores or any news. They exist too. Is someone dropping the ball or do they not count? Just wondering.

    2. Since the start of COVID its a lot more convenient to do this so if there is a case then only those 2 teams will have to quarantine and not 3-4 teams
