FAYETTE CO. JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW BEGINS FRIDAY

  

The youth of Fayette County will show off their livestock projects this weekend at the Fayette County Junior Livestock Show.

The two-day show at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange opens at 8 a.m. Friday and concludes on Saturday.

Judging begins on Friday with the broiler show at 8:30 a.m.  The lamb show will be held at 10 a.m., followed immediately by the goat show.

The steer show gets underway at 1 p.m., with the heifer show right after.  Rabbit judging will start at 4 p.m., with the ag mechanics show at 4:30 p.m. and the swine show rounding out the day at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday starts with buyer registration at 12:30 p.m., then the beef heifer and ag mechanics review at 1:30 p.m.  The sale at 2 p.m. will conclude the livestock show.
