CASA HOSTING CAKE SMASH CHALLENGE FOR CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH

CASA for Kids of South Central Texas is seeking to spread awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month with its 2nd Annual Cake Smash Challenge.

CASA is looking for individuals or businesses to become “Smashees”, who will raise funding throughout the month of April by sharing the challenge on their personal or business platforms.

On April 30th, Smashees who raise $1,500 will meet at the CASA office in Brenham at 1500 South Day Street to have a cake smashed in their face.  The event will be shared live on Facebook.

If the program hits $15,000 by adding together all of the Smashees’ totals, CASA Board President Dr. John Turner will get a cake smashed in his face as well.

The challenge goes live tomorrow (Friday) and runs through April 30th.

Anyone interested in signing up for the challenge can provide their contact information to CASA, who will set up the challenge and send it directly to participants via email.
