BRENHAM CUB BAND PRE-UIL CONCERT TUESDAY; KWHI TO BROADCAST CONCERT WEDNESDAY

  

The Brenham Cub Band will rehearse its UIL programs tonight (Tuesday) at a pre-UIL concert.

The concert is free and open to the public, and begins at 6 p.m. in the Brenham High School Auditorium.  The concert will include performances from the Cub and Women’s Choir, Varsity Choir, 4^th and 7^th Period Concert Bands and Symphonic Band.

For anyone unable to attend tonight’s concert, KWHI will record it for playback tomorrow (Wednesday).  The concert will be broadcast at 6 p.m. on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.

After tonight’s concert, the band will get ready for its UIL performances on Tuesday, April 12^th at the Brenham High School Auditorium.  The 4^th Period Concert Band performs at 10 a.m., followed by the 7^th Period Concert Band at 1:30 p.m. and the Symphonic Band at 4:05 p.m.

The choirs will perform the following week at Foundry United Methodist Church in Cypress.  The Varsity Choir will perform on Wednesday, April 20^th at 1 p.m., while the Women’s Choir will perform Thursday, April 21^st at 2 p.m.

All UIL concert performances are free and open to public attendance.  However, UIL does not allow family or friends to watch the sight-reading portion of the choir evaluation.
