BLUEBONNET ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE ANNUAL MEETING MAY 10

  

The Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be holding their annual meeting on Tuesday, May 10.

The meeting will be held at the Silos at 77 located at 1031 County Road 223 in Giddings from 1:30-3:30pm.

Three seats on the Board of Directors are up for election this year. All three seats are held by incumbents and they are uncontested so they will be remaining on the board of directors.

The candidates include Milton Shaw for District 1, which includes the counties of Caldwell, Guadalupe, Gonzales, and Hays.

Debbie Goertz is the candidate for District 3, which is made up of Bastrop County.

The final candidate is Ben Flencher, for District 5, which is made up of Burleson County.

Also at this year’s meeting, participants will have to drive through to register. They can also receive co-op information, get refreshments, and receive answers to questions all without getting out of their cars.

Members can also vote by proxy.  Proxy forms were mailed out to all members in March.

To vote by proxy, fill out the form and mail it back using the self-addressed postage-prepaid envelope provided.

If you cannot find your form, call the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative offices at  1-800-842-7708 from Monday thru Friday, from 8am-5pm, or e-mail them at memberservices@bluebonnet.coop, to have one mailed to you.

Completed proxy forms must be postmarked by May 3, or given to a representative at a Member Service Center drive-through lane by 5pm on May 3.

Every member who votes by proxy or registers at the drive-through annual meeting will be entered in drawings to win one of dozens of door prizes.
