PRAIRIE VIEW FOOTBALL TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE PRIOR TO SPRING GAME

Prairie View A&M University will be having a press conference this Saturday prior to their Spring Football Game.

New Head Coach Bubba McDowell will introduce the rest of his staff beginning at 10am at the Athletic Administration Building.

McDowell, who played professionally with the Houston Oilers, was promoted to Head Coach earlier this year after being on the Panthers' Coaching Staff for the last eleven seasons.

He had been Prairie View's assistant head coach for the past four years.

Prairie View finished last season as the SWAC Champions. They were 7-5 overall, and 6-2 in conference.

They have 65 returning players, including 15 who were starters.
