CUBS CLINCH A PLAYOFF SPOT WITH A 6-3 WIN OVER WALLER

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team punched their ticket to the playoffs with a 6-3 victory over the Waller Bulldogs last (Tuesday) night.
Ethan Jezierski got the start and pitched the first four innings to get the win. Mason Lampe came on in relief and pitched the final three inning to get the save.
It was a big night at the plate for Gunner Gee, who drove in five of the six Cub runs with a three run homer in the second inning and a two run single in the sixth inning.
The win moves Brenham into second place in District 19-5A, and only one game behind Magnolia for first place.
The Cubs wrap up the regular season against Waller on Friday night at 7pm at Fireman's Park. It is also Seniors Night. The 17 outgoing Seniors on the team will be recognized on the field prior to the game.
