TWO DAYS LEFT FOR EARLY VOTING; NEARLY 2,000 BALLOTS CAST THUS FAR
Two days of early voting remain in the constitutional amendment election and Brenham ISD bond election.
Through five days of early voting, 1,989 votes have been cast in the constitutional amendment election, with 1,913 early voters in the school bond election.
Per Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, Friday had 508 votes in the amendment election and 496 votes in the bond election. Those numbers are up over the previous single-day highs on Thursday, which saw 437 constitutional amendment voters and 419 bond voters.
Early voting resumes on Monday at the Washington County Courthouse Annex, wrapping up on Tuesday. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Election Day is Saturday, May 7th.
