ELI SAUNDERS TO BE RECOGNIZED AT NEXT BURTON SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

  

The Burton ISD Board of Trustees will hold their regular meeting coming up on Monday night.

Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy is going to be giving an update on the Facilities Bond project.  She will also be recognizing Burton High School Senior Eli Saunders, who took part in the recent State Powerlifting Meet.

The board is expected to select a vendor to provide the lighting from the projects included in the Burton ISD Bond.

They are also going to take up a resolution declaring certain personal property of the district to be surplus property and giving Dr. Kennedy the authority to sell or dispose of such surplus property in the best interests of the district.

Other agenda items include a discussion on the baseball scoreboard and district safety and security.

The Burton School Board meeting is Monday at 5pm in the Burton High School Auditorium.
