CUBETTES LOSE A HEARTBREAKER TO KINGWOOD PARK 4-3

The Brenham Cubettes lost a heartbreaker to the Kingwood Park Lady Panthers 4-3 last (Thursday) night.
The Lady Panthers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning.
Brenham cut the lead in half with one run in the third inning, and then took the lead with two runs in the fifth inning.
The Cubettes were leading 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Kingwood Park came up with two runs in the frame to win it 4-3.

The series continues tomorrow (Saturday) at 4pm at Jordan High School in (Katy/Fulshear). The Cubettes have to win Game Two in order to force a third and deciding game 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game Two. One or both games will be on KWHI 1280AM, and 101.7FM. If there is a baseball broadcast, then the softball broadcast will start on the Sports Alternate feed, and move to the radio when the baseball broadcast ends. If there is no baseball broadcast, then the game will start on the radio.
