BLINN BOARD TO HOLD DISCUSSIONS ON BUDGET

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday to go over next fiscal year’s budget.

A series of reports will include a presentation on the proposed budget for the 2022-23 Fiscal Year.  Trustees will also receive administrative and financial reports.

The budget adopted for the 2021-22 Fiscal Year totaled $121 million, while the tax rate was 5.13 cents per $100 valuation.

In action items, the board will consider contracts for the College’s online proctoring services and for painting contractor services to repaint the interior of Wheeler Hall on the Brenham Campus.

During an executive session, trustees will consider authorizing the College to renegotiate and execute agreements related to the sale of real property in Brazos County.

The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Brenham Campus Administration Building.
