‘THE SWEET DELILAH SWIM CLUB’ TO PLAY AT UNITY THEATRE JUNE 2-19

Unity Theatre's final Main Stage show of the season is a comedy about life, love and the power of enduring friendships.

The Sweet Delilah Swim Club by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten will be staged at Unity Theatre from June 2-19.

In The Sweet Delilah Swim Club, five women, whose friendships began on their college swim team, meet for a long weekend every August at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, to catch up and re-connect.  As their lives unfold and the years pass, these five women increasingly rely on one another to get through life’s challenges.  The play focuses on four of their weekends together and spans a period of 33 years.

Performances begin with a preview night on Thursday, June 2nd, featuring a talk-back session with the cast and crew after the show.  Guests will be able to meet with the director at a director’s chat prior to the show on Saturday, June 11th.

Tickets are $27, and go on sale to the public on Monday.  Tickets to the preview performance are $19.  Student tickets and any seats available 15 minutes before showtime are $15.

Subscriber reservations and special price tickets can only be purchased by calling the box office at 979-830-8358, but regular tickets are available online at www.unitybrenham.org.
