BRENHAM ISD TO DISCUSS DISTRICT SAFETY AND SECURITY AT NEXT MEETING
The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Monday at noon.
In the wake of the school shooting in Uvalde, the board will be having a discussion on district safety and security.
They are also scheduled to have a workshop on the budget and compensation.
Another agenda item is for the possible approval of a one-time payment for the English as a Second Language teachers.
In addition to that, the School Board will be going into executive session to meet with their attorney regarding personnel matters.
In the session, Board members are going to discuss three positions that could be filled; assistant principal at Brenham Middle School, assistant principal at Brenham Junior High School, and for a Dean of Instruction at Brenham Junior High School.
On the consent agenda, the Board will be approving amendments to the District Instructional Calendars, and monetary donations to the district.
