POLSKI DZIEN JUNE 24-25 IN BREMOND
Bremond, the Polish Capital of Texas, is getting ready to celebrate its heritage at its annual Polish Festival Days.
The Bremond Chamber of Commerce’s Polski Dzien will be held Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th in downtown Bremond, offering food, music, dancing, shopping and games.
The event gets underway on Friday with a beauty pageant, barbecue cook-off, vendors, and live music from Mark Halata & Texavia, DJ Jarvis Jones, and Raymond Ramirez and the TLC Band.
Activities begin Saturday with the Polish 5K Pickle Run, followed by opening ceremonies with several Polish welcoming traditions and a parade through downtown. There will also be a car show, dance performances and children’s activities.
Saturday’s musical entertainment include Brian Marshall, Jim Mazurkiewicz, the Jodie Mikula Orchestra, DJ Jarvis Jones and Texas Unlimited Band.
