FORMER CUB BOSSE MAKES BRAZOS VALLEY BOMBERS DEBUT IN A 4-2 WIN

Former Brenham Cub, Ben Bosse, who pitched collegiately for Auburn this past season, made his debut for the Brazos Valley Bombers last (Wednesday) night in a 4-2 win over the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Bosse got the start and pitched three scoreless innings. He allowed only one hit, walked two, and struck out four.
Colton Taylor came on and pitched four scoreless innings of relief.
The Bombers got the scoring started on a two run single by Davis Powell and an RBI single by Shelby Becker.
After the Cane Cutters scored a couple of late runs to cut the lead down to 3-2, Wyatt Grant capped off the night for the Brazos Valley with a solo home run.
The win moves the Bombers into a tie with Acadiana for first place in the Texas Collegiate League. Both teams are 8-4 on the season.
The Brazos Valley Bombers are on the road again tonight (Thursday) to take on Baton Rouge.
They will then return home to host Baton Rouge at Edible Field in Bryan on Saturday and Sunday. Both games have a 7:05pm start time.
