BLINN ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR LEAVING

Blinn College Assistant Athletic Director Jake Gordon is moving on to a new opportunity.
Gordon started today (Friday) as the new Athletic Director for the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers.
In his new position, Gordon will oversee the Rangers’ 13 different sports programs.
Gordon had been the assistant athletic director at Blinn for the past three years, where he oversaw the eligibility of all student-athletes, ran the game day operations, and live streamed all of the home games on the college’s YouTube Channel.
This was his second stint with Blinn.
Gordon had previously been Blinn College’s Sports Information Specialist. He then left for two years to be the Assistant Athletic Director at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, before returning to the Buccaneers.
Gordon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Utah, and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Sports Information from Saint Leo University in Florida.
The Utah native is married to Tiffany Finley Gordon, and they have two children, Lucy and Andrew.
