CHAPPELL HILL MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER IN WEEKEND SHOOTING

A Chappell Hill man is in custody after being accused of committing a fatal shooting on Sunday.
35-year-old Justin Jervan Thomas is charged with murder in the death of 43-year-old Larry Deshaye Hardman of Chappell Hill.
According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, deputies responded around 5:30 p.m. Sunday to a shooting call on Chadwick Hogan Road in Chappell Hill.
Deputies arrived and found Hardman with a gunshot wound. Washington County EMS responded and determined he was deceased.
Thomas was also at the scene and was placed into custody. He remains at the Washington County Jail on $750,000 bond.
Criminal investigators from the sheriff’s office and the Texas Rangers conducted the scene investigation. They continue to look into what led to the shooting.
It just a tradgy for both families….. but could have been preventive.if a person is carrying a gun around there is nothing good is gonna come out of it…… they are just setting themselves up for this to happen eventually..if not Larry than some one….. but still praying for both families…….most things that happens in life can be preventive…
