BRETTE KOHRING NAMED NEW HEAD SOFTBALL COACH AT ANGELINA
A former Brenham Cubette Softball player has landed her first head coaching job.
Brette Kohring has been named as the new Head Coach of the Angelina Lady Roadrunners Softball Team.
Kohring had been the assistant coach under now-former head coach Josh Barnes, who left to take another coaching opportunity elsewhere.
The team finished 38-16 this past season.
Kohring also played two seasons for Angelina, including being on the team that went to the NJCAA National Championship Game in 2019.
In High School, she was a four year starter at shortstop for the Cubettes. She is also a graduate of Texas A&M University.
