SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN BELLVILLE SHOOTING INCIDENT

  

The Bellville Police Department has arrested two men in connection with a shooting incident that occurred during the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched to the Park Place Apartments on South Mechanic Street in Bellville.

According to police reports, the two suspects were engaged in a verbal disturbance with the victim.

As the victim attempted to leave the apartment complex, the suspects are accused of firing multiple rounds into his vehicle.

The victim was not injured.

One of the suspects was arrested at the scene, while the other was taken into custody after being tracked to an apartment complex in Sealy.

Keavon Hillsman Ward and Terri Ward Jr. were charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and transported to the Austin County Jail in Bellville.
