WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER LUNCH AND LEARN PROGRAM ON WEDNESDAY

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s next Lunch & Learn program will focus on how companies can prepare for violent incidents in the workplace.
The program is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11:30am to 1pm in the Blinn College Student Center Conference Room.
Three guests will speak during the presentation. They include Jay Moeller, who is a former FBI agent and the current emergency services training manager at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service; Brenham Police Sergeant Seth Klehm; and Baylor Scott & White emergency medicine nurse Patti Parks.
Moeller will discuss training workers, looking for red flags, and preventing threats from within. Sgt. Klehm will go over civilian responses and response options to active shooter events and the role of officers. Parks will talk about the availability of Stop the Bleed training.
A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:30am, with the first speaker scheduled to begin at 11:45am.
