FARM BUREAU MAKES DONATION TO BREAD PARTNERS

Bread Partners of Washington County is going to benefit from the generosity of the Texas Farm Bureau.

The Farm Bureau is holding Food Connection activities statewide, and their local chapter in Washington County has made a $300 donation to the Bread Partners.

Farm Bureau Director Linda Oberhoff presented the donation to Bread Partners representatives, Wendall Brown and Rod Perdue.

Perdue said that they are very thankful for the Farm Bureau’s donation, because there is a great need for food right now.

He encourages others to assist in their cause, if they can, by donating as well.

Earlier in the year, as part of the first phase of Food Connection Activities, the Farm Bureau awarded gift cards to six lucky shoppers at a local grocery store.
