BRENHAM CUB BAND MARCHES ACROSS TOWN

The Brenham Cub Band marked the start of the new school year this (Friday) morning with its annual March-a-Thon.

The band traveled around Brenham to perform various tunes as it gets ready for this year’s marching season.

Band members began their journey at the Brenham High School band hall, stopping at First Baptist Church, downtown Brenham, Bank of Brenham, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Brenham ISD central office, Christ Lutheran Day School, the Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Activity Center and Blue Bell Creameries.

In addition to being a yearly tradition for the Cub Band, the March-a-Thon also acts as a fundraiser for the Brenham band program.

Anyone interested in donating can contact Band Director Eric Rettig at erettig@brenhamk-12.net.
