FAYETTE CO. FAIR BEGINS THURSDAY
The 95th Annual Fayette County Fair gets underway today (Thursday).

Four days of activities at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange kick off today, including live music and entertainment, livestock shows, a carnival, a barbecue cook-off, a 5K run and a parade.
Today is Senior Citizen’s Day at the fair, with $5 admission for citizens 55 and older. The Heart of America Carnival opens today, and the queen’s scholarship pageant will take place at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by Josh Tiemann.
Tomorrow (Friday) features kids’ train rides, mutton bustin’ and entertainment from DJ Superman, The Bandits and Inconfundibles Del Norte.
Saturday opens with a 5K run and a parade through downtown La Grange. There will also be a corn hole tournament, petting zoo and bucket calf show, along with performances from Keith Hickle, Southbound 955, Austin Meade and Ian Munsick.
The fair rounds out on Sunday with Mason Marek and the Drifters, Lonely Road, Gene Watson, and McBride & The Ride.
