BUCCANEER FOOTBALL AND MEN’S SOCCER TEAMS MAKE THE LATEST NJCAA POLLS

The latest NJCAA Football Poll is out.  The Blinn Buccaneer Football Team has moved up from #15 to #13 in the country.

The Bucs are coming off of a 21-13 win over Cisco College this past Saturday.  Their record now stands at 3-0 on the season.

Blinn is off this week.  Next Saturday, September 24, they will have their first road game of the season.  The Bucs travel to #1 Ranked New Mexico Military Institute, who also won the NJCAA National Championship last season.

The only other Southwest Junior College Football Conference Team in the poll is Kilgore, who is ranked at #5.

Meanwhile, after their great start, the Blinn Buccaneer Men's Soccer also finds themselves in the latest NJCAA poll. The Bucs are 5-1-1 on the season, and have entered the rankings at #18.

Their lone loss was to Angelina this past Saturday in a hard fought 1-0 game.  Angelina was #6 at the time, and is now #5 in the poll.

The only other team from the conference to make the poll is Tyler at #8.  They were #4, but dropped down after suffering their first loss this past week.

The Bucs return to action tomorrow (Wednesday) when they travel to Jacksonville for a 4pm game.
