LADIES LION CLUB AWARDED MELVIN JONES FELLOWSHIPS

Five members of the Washington County Ladies Lions Club have been awarded Melvin Jones Fellowships from the recent donation to Lions Club International Foundation for hunger.

Past International Director Joe Al Picone made the presentation for the club.

The Melvin Jones Fellowship is named for Lions Club founder Melvin Jones over 100 years ago.  It is the highest award for Lions worldwide.

Ladies Lions Club members Linda Kocian, Sheri Kruger, and Shirley Moehlmann each received their first MJF.

Meanwhile, Enid Kocian won her second MJF, and Linda Jensen Oberhoff received her fourth MJF.  Oberhoff also received a new pin with three diamonds.

For the Washington County Ladies Lions Club, this brings the total for their club to 26 Melvin Jones Fellowships, several of which are progressive levels.
