BRENHAM CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT THE COUGAR CLASSIC

Members of the Brenham High Cross Country Team competed in the 8th Annual Cougar Classic at Sugarland Kempner High School.

On the boys' side of the meet, Brenham finished 22nd of 28 teams with 199 runners competing.

Hunter Fleetwood led Brenham with a time of 17 minutes and 24.9 seconds.  Other runners for Brenham were (finish time in parentheses):

• Jayden Jackson, 20:43.9
• Brock Fleetwood, 20:46.1
• Alan Guerrero, 21:22.8
• Josh Knowles, 21:24.3

On the girls' side, Brittney Hajek finished with a time of 22 minutes and 59.5 seconds.  Gracie Graef finished with a time of 26 minutes 11.3 seconds.

Next up, the Brenham Cross Country Team will compete in the Klein Bearkat Tune-Up, which is being held Friday at Spring Creek Park in Tomball.
